This Pennell variant was originally designed by Scotland's Orcadian angler Ian Hutcheon. It is a good fly to have on your cast when there are black buzzers and midge about. Hutch's Pennell is normally fished on the middle dropper of your cast where it will attract many a wary brown trout.
