Redington Rod Warranty

Every Redington rod is built to meet the highest quality standards. All new Redington Fly Rods purchased from an authorised Redington dealer, excluding the Crosswater series are covered by our lifetime original owner guarantee*. Guide Flyfishing Limited operates the guarantee in the UK and Ireland on behalf of Redington. The current charges for Redington warranty start from £50. Please contact us for further information. International customers will be asked to pay the actual shipping and insurance charges. Guide Flyfishing reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Redington product covered by this warranty.

Redington warranty does not allow for credit or any trading up arrangement. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Redington Reel Warranty

Every new Redington reel purchased through an authorized retailer is covered by a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. The Crosswater and Path reels are covered for one year. All other reels are covered by a lifetime, original owner warranty. Items returned for warranty must include a dated proof of purchase.

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the reel only, and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear, fire, theft, loss, or intentional damage.


How to make a claim

In the event of having to make a claim please contact us at [email protected]. Please ask for the correct section as illustrated above. You may be required to return the full rod including any broken sections, together with its warranty card and original invoice or receipt from your retailer*. If this is required please include a note explaining the problem along with the full and correct return address and the relevant payment (as specified above) to cover return shipping, insurance and processing. You may make your payment by cheque or postal order, payable to Guide Flyfishing Limited.

(Guide Flyfishing cannot be held responsible for any returns parcel lost in the post, therefore please keep your receipt as proof of postage. Please also ensure that you supply you’re full and correct address, we cannot be held responsible if your item goes missing due to an incorrect address.)

* We regret that we are unable to deal with any returns under the warranty without such proof of purchase.
