RIO’s Premier Coastal Seatrout Shooting Head V2 is a purpose-built shooting head created for the angler that chases cruising sea trout along the Scandinavian coast. The 32ft head is built to load quickly and minimize false casts and has a powerful front taper that turns over with ease in typical coastal winds. It is exceptionally easy to cast and designed to make long casts with minimal effort, yet presenting flies gently for excellent presentation to wary fish in clear, shallow water. It is the perfect head for the walk-and-wade angler working long stretches of shoreline.

This series of shooting heads is available with three different density options, giving anglers multiple choices for complete depth control across varying coastal conditions and terrains. The options are Floating, Float/Hover, and Hover/Intermediate, putting the fly exactly where the fish are hunting - from the surface down through the sub-surface layer.
