The RIO Elite Integrated Skagit Max Launch is a series of integrated, powerful, full-floating Skagit style shooting heads, designed to cast large flies and heavy sink tips with exceptional ease and control. It’s weight distribution deeply loads rods, producing long, effortless casts, while the short, powerful head and commanding front taper forms smooth, stable loops and delivers consistent turnover of large, bulky flies and heavy tips with ease.

Being integrated, the Skagit shooting head seamlessly attaches to an appropriately sized shooting line – negating the frustration of loop-to-loop joins running through the rod rings, as with usual shooting head systems. An extended rear taper improves flight stability and smooths out the energy transfer, resulting in a cleaner, more efficient casting stroke with better control throughout.

In addition, the shooting line is RIO’s acclaimed Elite Metered Shooting Line, a shooting line that changes colour every 10 feet to improve distance control and judgement, and maintain consistent casting performance across sessions.
