Caledonia Silver Stoat’s Tail Nordic Double

It is a Salmon and Sea Trout fly that must be in everyone's fly box. This still stands up to all those modern spiced up patterns and will always get you the sport you are after. The BMD hooks are used when we require a smaller sized hook with a greater strength and a wider gape to land what ever the stream holds for us. The fly is fished in most conditions due to the contrast in the black and silver as it will standout. We have tied this pattern on a Nordic Double hook which gives the pattern great stability in the water and obviously great hook strength.
